Its prominent presence is softened by extensive landscaping, creating an inviting streetscape while framing long-range views towards St Ives Golf Club. From Concept to Community
The initial concept explored the relationship between built form, landscape and the public realm. The design seeks to reduce the perceived scale of the building through articulated massing, layered planting and recessed balconies, allowing the architecture to sit comfortably within St Ives' leafy character. Early sketches focused on creating a building that embraces natural light, generous outdoor living and a strong visual connection to the surrounding tree canopy. This vision established the project's design philosophy - one that balances urban density with openness, creating a timeless architectural expression that feels both elegant and deeply connected to its environment.
